This policy describes how Ashvathama Energies Private Limited ("Ashvathama Energies", "we", "us") handles data when we use the Meta platforms — Facebook and Instagram — to publish and manage content on our own official Pages and Instagram Business accounts.

1. What we do

We use Meta's Graph API to publish and manage organic (non-paid) content on Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts that Ashvathama Energies owns or has been authorised to manage. We do not run advertisements, promoted posts, or paid campaigns. We do not collect data from members of the public who view our posts.

2. What data our systems access

Through the Meta Graph API, our internal publishing system accesses:

Facebook Page metadata — Page ID, Page name, and the permissions our admin holds on the Page. Used to publish posts to the correct Page.
Facebook Page engagement counts — aggregated public metrics such as follower count and post reach for the Pages we manage. Used to verify a post was published successfully and to produce internal operational reports.
Instagram Business account metadata — the Instagram Business account ID, username, and its link to a Facebook Page. Used to publish reels to the correct Instagram account.
Media we publish — the video files, images, and captions we choose to post. This is content Ashvathama Energies has generated or lawfully sourced.

We do not access, download, or store:

Private messages
Comments left by public users
Individual users' profile data
Data about people who like, comment on, or view our posts

3. Data we store, and for how long

Inside our own private database we store only what is needed to operate our internal publishing schedule:

The identifiers listed in section 2
A history of what our system attempted to publish, when, and whether it succeeded (needed to prevent duplicate posts and to enable auditing)
Screenshots of our own published posts, taken from our own Pages/accounts (used to verify publication)

We retain these records only for so long as they support the operation and audit of our publishing workflow. Records older than 24 months are automatically purged. We do not share any of this data with third parties.

4. Where data is stored

All operational data is stored on infrastructure controlled by Ashvathama Energies Private Limited or its authorised agency, hosted in India. We do not transfer or process data outside the country.

5. Legal basis

Our processing is based on:

Legitimate interest — Ashvathama Energies operating its own social media presence.
Explicit administrator consent — access to Meta accounts is granted by the account owner (an authorised admin of Ashvathama Energies) via Meta Business Suite.

6. Data subject rights

We do not collect personal data from the public through our Meta-connected systems, so there is no user-visible data subject request flow. If you believe your data has been included inadvertently, please contact us at the email above and we will investigate and delete as appropriate.

7. Meta's own data handling

Meta operates the Facebook and Instagram platforms and processes user data under its own policies. Our access to Meta platforms is governed by the Meta Platform Terms and the specific permissions granted to our app during Meta App Review. 8. Security

Access tokens issued to us by Meta are stored in an encrypted secrets store, are accessible only to the automated publishing service, and are never displayed or written to logs. Our publishing infrastructure runs behind authentication and is not exposed to the public internet.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data handling or to comply with new legal or platform requirements. Material changes will be noted here with a revised effective date at the top.
